We’re very pleased to announce that our new single “Ally The Truth” will drop on the 18th June- an epic tour-de-force of a journey through a relationship, the song encompasses all the glory and drama of a love gone awry- but with a beautiful and harmonious resolution.

Featuring Mike Malyan (Monuments, TesseracT) guesting on drums, and appearances from Ben Roberts (Abrasive Trees, Silver Moth, solo) on cello alongside our own Flo Smith, with interwoven dual-vocals from Niall and Yunala (and additional vocal appearance from Beatrix Hammond), the song sweeps through a range of emotions detailing the path of a relationship, from interest to difference to redemption.

Composer and producer Niall Parker said:

“Ally The Truth has been far from a trivial undertaking; in fact, it took several years to complete. This was partly due to our desire to capture the necessary depth of dramatic tension, and partly because we wanted to preserve the simple essence of the emotions at its core — namely, the beauty of human interaction at its best.”

“Ally The Truth” is a passionate and sensitive epic that traces the emotional landscape of a relationship — from first meeting, through conflict and drama, to eventual connection. At its heart, it is an attempt to offer hope to the world.

A truly Devon-based effort, the song was recorded between Middle Farm Studios and The House On The Hill, then mixed by Izzy Bard at Off-Grid Arts and mastered at Stardelta by Lewis Hopkin, the song created a fair number of creative and technical challenges- all triumphantly overcome. The release features artwork by Beatrix Hammond.
