“Opening the evening were Gravity Machine, though I must confess I didn’t catch all of their set. Partly because I’m not the tallest person, and the stage stood barely eight inches high.

Their songs leaned heavily into the shamanic rock territory of Heilung and Wardruna, complete with face paint and ritualistic atmosphere. Tracks such as ‘Standing Stones’, ‘Dreamtime’, and the epic set-closer ‘Nine’ were groove-laden and atmospheric, enhanced by violin and bodhrán. The female vocalist delivered a commanding performance, her voice strong and clear, with the presence of a pagan priestess.

They clearly have a devoted following, as evidenced by the group at the front—barefoot, arms flailing, lost in their own ecstatic ritual.”

Aaannnd….we’re up to mischief again, Niall and Yunala laying down tracks at @middlefarmstudios again, with Izzi Bard at the helm with this vintage Trident Audio desk front and centre. There are more developments to follow…! We’ve all been busy…

The moment has come to announce our new single & video, called “Find The Healer”…

The video is available on Youtube, and the single is released through our Bandcamp page. The song is an arc through healing, integration of shadow-aspects of the psyche and all the layered human facets of growing and exploring the soul. Featuring twin vocals, from Niall and Yunala, the song is propelled by a titanic groove courtesy of a guest appearance from Mike Malyan (he of Monuments, Tesseract and others) and backed up by performances from Flo Smith (on violin) and Harry (additional vocals). As ever, it was engineered, mixed, produced and mastered by Pete Miles at Middle Farm Studios.

The video is a collaboration between Gravity Machine and a crew of our friends, taking the roles of the Shadows, and of concepts & masks created by Adriana Banari, with costumes created by Yunala herself and by Bea Hammond. Shot & edited by Harry Duns and directed by Adriana Banari, the video echoes the song against a backdrop of the forest.
