More tracking…
Today we were tracking guitar lines for “The Empty Quarter” and “Pharmacopeia”.
Intense and very loud distorted open-tunings and shoegaze sounds- all courtesy of a Gus Guitars Jaguar!

So….running through the acoustic tracks ahead of the next set of sessions in January. This means lots…and lots…of practice. Especially on the 12-string- not the easiest thing to play (well, not the easiest to play well…and naturally we’re after perfection here!).
Plus there is all the usual administration- emails, bills, communication, checking that everything is still moving along!
Most excitingly (for guitar geeks, anyway) is the addition of an EQD Aqueduct to the stable…it’s already providing cool additions to the palette and looks like being pretty indispensable!
So….this is where it all begins. Laying down the first takes, starting- as always- with the drums. Sounding beautiful in the room, so loud, fierce and authentic.
